Basaveshwara College of Physiotherapy, is located in the Fort city, Chitradurga. The college got the permission from Government of Karnataka and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences to start Bachelor’s Degree programme in Physical Therapy, in the year 2023. The permitted seats to start the course with an intake of 40 students to be trained in the Department of Physiotherapy of the Basaveshwara Medical College & Hospital (accorded sanction). Today the Department has grown up in facility and faculty. Gained an independent identity, with the name, “Basaveshwara College of Physiotherapy”. The institution has annual intake of 40 students in BPT.
Basaveshwara College of Physiotherapy is one of the famous institution in Chitradurga. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. Basaveshwara SRI JAGADGURUMURUGHARAJENDRA VIDYAPEETHA Education Trust (R) was established on 21th June 1966. The office is located at Basaveshwara College of Allied Health Sciences, SJM Campus, NH-4(48),Near Bypass, Chitradurga- 577502.
